2025 Rose Ball Beneficiaries Announced

May 14, 2025

The Charity Ball Board of Greenville recently selected the beneficiaries for the 2025 Rose Ball.

The 28th annual Rose Ball will be held Sept. 26 at The Poinsett Club. Kate Madden, 2025 Rose Ball chairwoman and Charity Ball Board of Greenville member, said the Rose Ball is one of Greenville’s most elegant and sophisticated events that focuses on giving back to the community in ways that create positive change.

“This year’s ball is on track to raise a record amount for our beneficiaries, and that is a direct reflection of the commitment of our volunteers and the many corporate and individual donors who give so generously,” Madden said.

Fifty percent of the Rose Ball proceeds will benefit Bon Secours St. Francis Health System’s graduate medical education program. The remaining proceeds will be divided among local nonprofit organizations, including:

  • A Child’s Haven
  • Canterbury Counseling Center
  • Center for Developmental Services
  • Conestee Nature Preserve
  • Feed & Seed
  • Fine Arts Center Partners
  • GirlUp Greenville
  • Greenville Symphony
  • Greenville Tech Foundation
  • Greenville Theatre
  • Greenville Together
  • Homes of Hope
  • Loaves & Fishes
  • OnTrack Greenville
  • Public Education Partners
  • Safe Harbor
  • The Children’s Museum of the Upstate

More than 60 applications were submitted by nonprofits in Greenville County for consideration. The Charity Ball Board of Greenville’s beneficiaries committee reviewed each application, conducted site visits and presented a slate for recommendation to the full board.

“Since the inception of the Rose Ball in 1971, approximately $5 million has been distributed to organizations in Greenville County. We are humbled by the work of the wonderful agencies who serve physical, emotional, educational, environmental and cultural needs in our community,” said Katy Sides, chair of the 2025 Rose Ball beneficiaries committee.
